We have a small farm where we grow vegetables for our own use. So we do gardening and with the greenhouse we grow also tomatoes etc. We have hens and bees. We go fishing in the big lake Storsjön, we take care of our forest (we cut the wood to heat our fireplaces and the sauna and for building), we cultivate and harvest on our farm. Depending on season we have a variety of every day work where some extra hands are very useful (beehives for example) and the work gets more joyful together. We restore buildings and have projects to develop our farm, we exchange knowledge. In "Ösalogen" (the barn in Ösa) we have created an indoor space for small concerts and cultural events. One or two persons are welcome to contact us. You can live in a small cottage in the garden (not when it's very cold) or in the house. You eat with us, we cook together, as you want and how we can arrange the best way for everybody. Welcome to join us! Certifications: We don't need to be certified in our little farm, but we do so much eco as we can. Internet access available

We live in Ås, a village 13 km north-west of Östersund in the middle of Sweden by the lake Storsjön. Buses close to go to town. Train and flights to Östersund, Frösö airport.

Une expérience unique, inspirante et éducative! En plus d'être des personnes agréables, cultivées et gentilles Eva et André sont adorables. J'ai passé 3 très bonnes semaines en leur compagnie. En raison de l'arrivée de l'hiver et des froides périodes les activités étaient plus centrées autour de la construction. Le savoir faire d'André est impressionnant et ce qu'ils ont réussi à accomplir est magnifique. Un havre de paix. Je n'aurais pu rêvé mieux comme première expérience en Woofing. Merci encore et à une prochaine fois, du moins je l'espère! :) An unique, inspiring and educating experience! In addition of being cultured, friendly and kind people, Eva and André are lovely. I spent 3 great weeks with them. Due to the winter coming, activities were more centered around construction. André's knowledge is impressive and what they were able to accomplish is incredible. A peace haven. I couldn't have wished for a better first experience in Woofing. Thank you again and untill next time, at least I hope! :)

This is my second wwoofing experience and I really enjoyed it a lot. Éva and André shared a lot with me as everyday life. Which is what I wanted. I experienced a new way of living. Sharing time when I wanted (quite a lot), being alone when I wanted (quite a few). When I felt really down for personal reasons, I could take a complete day off for myself, without any negative remark or whatever. The following day, André found me the best suited work for me in this circumstance : Weeding the carrots! I am fond of folk music and dance, and I couldn't have found a better place for it, I guess. I came to their place when they were having a jam session with some of their friends, and they invited me to join them, as I brought my harp with me. Lovely! Even one of their friends took 2h30 to teach me a new melody by ear! I went also to a bal so I could dance, I had multiple times the opportunity to play and hear folk music, not only with both of them playing fiddle. Concerning work, it was chill work. I enjoyed it this way. Taking time to do things. I could feel so much trust from André in my skills that I dared trying many new things, such as cutting the grass and woods with a thermal brushcutter, driving backwards a 4x4 with a trailer,... They made me discover almost everyday something new, such as using birch trees for the sauna, net fishing, how to wax clothes, looking after the bees... Many other cool things... A place to go if you want to take your time to enjoy the present.

Our stay for 3 weeks with Eva and André was our first wwoofing experience. We couldn't have hoped for better hosts. They are a very nice couple, we had lots of fun together with a lot of jokes. They are relaxed and easy-going. On our first evening they played some violin songs for us. And later they invited us to a violinists gathering in town, where we could experience the lovely violing music they and the other guys played. Our daily work included: planting vegetables, removing an old sheep herding fence, preparing meals, playing with their lovely cat Gandalf 😻, help to extend the garage (working with wood was fun!), and mowing the lawn. They took great care of us, with delicious food with ingredients from their garden (rhubarb cake and drink made of rhubarb, yummy!), lovely conversations, nice evening walks, playing table tennis, and swimming in the nearby lake on a hot day. But the highlight was the midsummer festivities in the village nearby. It was such fun to spend the afternoon with Eva and André and the locals, picnicking, decorating the midsommar tree with birch and flowers, dancing with the whole community, and just generally having a good time 🌞 We can wholeheartedly and highly recommend them as hosts! Thank you so much, Eva and André 💙💛

I spent 3 weeks at Ösagård during the summer 2021. I am really happy about that stay for several reasons. We worked with various tasks (working with bees and collecting honey, taking care of sheep, cutting wood, harvesting in the garden, picking berries in the forest...). The farm is a wonderful place to live with a view on a lake and on mountains. Eva and André are forming a kind and relaxed couple. They have many interests (music, wood sculpture/construction, nature, cooking...) and are happy to share them with you as well as listening to yours. They are including and make sure you feel good. Moreover I ate really good food. I strongly recommend!

(Français en suivant) Eva and andré are great host. Open-minded and joyful human that deserves to be met. If you go to there farm you'll experience different activities such as taking care of the animals (even bees!), harvesting, cooking, fishing and more. I've learn so much and really enjoyed my time there. In bonus I got wonderful private concert music and dinner with there friends. Eva et andré sont des hôtes formidables. Des personnes ouvertes d'esprit et joyeuses qui méritent d'être rencontré. Si vous allez dans cette ferme, vous ferez l'expérience de différentes activités telles que prendre soin des animaux (même les abeilles!), récolter, cuisiner, pêcher et plus encore. J'ai tellement appris et j'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour là-bas. En prime, j'ai eu le droit à un de merveilleux concerts privés et dîners avec leurs amis.
