I spent 10 days with Stefan and Jonna on their self sufficient flower farm, and it was truly magical. I wouldn’t have changed a thing - their home was absolutely beautiful and they were incredibly warm and welcoming. I did tasks like organising wood sheds, picking flowers, weeding, potting new plants and foraging for mushrooms, and in the evenings we cooked delicious meals for eachother using vegetables from the garden. I even had some days off to go for swims and hikes! They are very special people and I’m sure I’ll be requesting a return visit soon.

I spend one month at Hans and Eva’s farm and I really enjoyed my time there. Hans and Eva are lovely people and together with the other WWOOFers it really felt like home. The daily board games were really fun and all the meals we shared were amazing. I learned a lot about young horses and how to work with them properly. I really enjoyed working with them whether it was trailer training, indoor training, riding or going for a walk. During my stay it snowed and the farm looked like a winter wonderland. But due to that and some cold nights we couldn’t do that much of gardening work. Nevertheless I learned about how to harvest root beets, squashes and other vegetables and how to grow chillis and basilikum indoor. I had a really good time with Hans and Eva and I would love to come back some day!

I spent two months at Råängen Gård and it was a truly wonderful time. Staying with Hans and Eva, together with the other WWOOFers, felt just like being at home. We had a warm, supportive community and I always felt welcomed and well taken care of. Working with the horses was one of the highlights for me. It was rewarding to see their development and the progress we made together during training. The daily routines in the stables, gardening tasks, preparing the farm for winter, and occasional work inside the house offered a nice variety of activities. Outside of work, we shared many special moments: baking kanelbullar or chocolate balls, helping with cooking and playing board games almost every day. Eva and Hans are fantastic cooks, and I enjoyed every single meal. Many of them made with ingredients from their own garden, which we harvested ourselves. The conversations, the atmosphere, and the sense of belonging made my stay unforgettable. I am deeply grateful for all the experiences I gained on the farm, and I will always remember this time with great fondness. If I get the chance, I would love to return to Råängen Gård in the future.

We stayed at Saläng Horse Camp for two months, and it was truly an amazing experience! One of the first things you’ll notice when staying at Christina’s farm is that she truly loves all of her animals and they love her back. During our stay, she taught us some basics of horse training and took us on many trail rides. But Saläng Horse Camp is a diverse farm! You do everything from taking care of chickens to gardening, so if you want to stay there, you should be interested in all of that. To conclude, it’s safe to say that we really enjoyed our stay!

I spent the whole month of Novembre at Anna and Gerhard homestead. The tasks were very varied : building a gardeshed, chopping firewood, raking died leaves, harvesting and cooking the kale. And of course walking with Tio their lovely dog. We also took turns cooking for each other, which was great for discovering new dishes and sharing good times over meals. In your free time, you can make lots of walks around the lakes, visit Gothenburg, and if you're not afraid about cold water try the Scandinavian morning swimming. Gerhard knows a lot about woodwork and has never ending project ideas. Anna is very cheerful and always makes sure we're doing well. They're very welcoming people, I never felt homesick !

My stay at Ea’s place was an amazing experience. She is a kind and warm person, full of positive energy. The place was beautiful, located right in front of the lake. Since the summer house was too cold to stay in during November, I stayed in the main house, which was cozy, clean, and well prepared. Ea kindly took me to Sunne, a town about a 15-minute drive from her place, for a small excursion. I really enjoyed experiencing the peaceful and quiet atmosphere there. In the evenings, we watched movies together. We also had many insightful conversations about agroecology, nature, politics, and more. She showed me her innovative and unique indoor planting methods and told me about her future plans for planting trees around the house. Thank you very much for such a great experience. Hope to see you again!

Me and my boyfriend were at Markus Farm for one month in November. It is a relatively big farm also with other workers. You work 6 hours a day/5 days a week. Sometimes we worked longer but then could sleep in on the next day. We stayed in an apartment on the farm and were mostly cocking our own food or staying just the two of us in the evenings. We had various tasks on Markus farm. From cleaning boxes, making juice and jam to catching lost pigs or sorting eggs. In the first two weeks the tasks varied a lot and it wasn’t boring at all, after that the tasks started to repeat themselves a bit. So we recommend staying about two or three weeks. We also recommend coming with the car, if possible because there is a beautiful landscape to discover. We often worked with anna or other workers, wich was always fun. When we had questions Markus and Anna were always helping us. We were happy to be there and it was a new woofing experience for us!

I stayed 3 months at Hans and Eva’s farm and it was an unforgettable experience. Hans and Eva are two warm- hearted people who are not only very smart, but also have fantastic cooking skills. Whether it was the porridge and self baked bread in the morning or the various meals for dinner, the food was always a highlight. Their way of working with horses is truly inspiring, and it was really nice to watch them, learn from them, and also work with the horses myself. Getting to know each of them, with their unique personalities and quirks, was one of the most fulfilling parts of my stay. Råangen Gård became a true home for me over the past months, a place filled with kindness, learning, and memorable moments. Thank you for everything Hans and Eva

We spent four weeks at Maria and Bengt's farm, and it was an incredible time! We got to work on the farm with 15 other people, and there was truly something for everyone, from collecting branches, building houses, and making cheese to games and movie nights. We were also lucky enough to go horse riding, and it was wonderful! There are also different groups, and Maja and I ended up in the animal group. We both already miss the chickens! Everyone was so lovely, and it was fantastic getting to know everyone a little better. It's amazing what Maria and Bengt have built and how much heart they put into it. A big thank you also to Henk, who was always there for us. We highly recommend staying longer than four weeks, but then saying goodbye is even harder, of course. Thank you so much for the wonderful time!

I had a wonderful two weeks here. Sarah and Simon were incredibly welcoming and patiently listened to my imperfect English. I worked from around 9 a.m. to about 3 p.m., with breaks for fika and lunch. I was lucky to help with making apple juice, which they only do once or twice a year. I also harvested potatoes and gathered branches from the apple tree pruning. All the meals were delicious, and the homemade bread and sweets were amazing. After the day’s work, we relaxed with some snacks while watching Netflix or movies. They know a lot about Lund, so I was able to enjoy my days off there as well. I had a comfortable and lovely time in their warm home with their adorable dogs.
