Hej! Are you tired of growing your avocado seed on the windowsill? Or maybe you want to experience what self-sustainability feels like? We offer an escape to the countryside at our small-scale certified organic farm, in the middle of Sweden. Our vision is to give back food its rightful value and rebuilding the relationship with both food and its origin. We grow what we ourselves want to eat. Join us grow, tend, herd, harvest and eat what the farm produces and gain a unique understanding for where food really comes from. Our animal livestock contains of 10 cows, 85 sheep. Every spring the number increases to about three times when the animals give birth to their young. We also have around 30 egg-laying hens. We grow vegetables outside on about 5000 m2 and tomatoes and cucumber in a heated greenhouse of 380 m2. We have a farm shop where we sell our produce and other things we like from our region. The days at the farm depend on the season and weather but can typically look like the following: 08:00 ready for work, daily care for animals or garden tasks, 10:00 coffee/tea break, continued farm work like seeding, weeding and watering, 12:30 lunch together prepared by todays cooking responsible, continued farm work like fence mending, trimming, checking animals, 16:00 end of day and time for a swim or rest, we meet again for dinner at about 19:00. The closest town is Katrineholm, at 20 km, and buses go frequently there (2 km to a bus stop). We invite you to use our bikes and get to know the neighbourhood, or use our canoes and spend a day visiting the beautiful creeks around us. Please observe that we can not welcome smokers (or other uses of tobacco) to our farm since the tomato plants are very sensitive to tobacco. Certifications: KRAV (Main Organic Rulemaking organisation in Sweden) Internet access available.

I really loved my time at Ändebols! It was an incredible experience, full of variety, discovery, and wonderful people. I especially enjoyed that the tasks often changed. From harvesting, preparing garden beds to working with the animals or helping with preparations for the farm shop. There was always something new to learn and experience. Katarina and Magnus are such kind, generous, and warm-hearted people. From the very beginning, I felt welcome and fully integrated into their life on the farm. They create a space that feels like home, open, caring, and full of good energy. The farm itself and the surrounding nature are absolutely beautiful. There’s so much to explore and enjoy during your free time, like peaceful walks, going on canoe tours, swimming in the nearby lakes and making a campfire and cooking dinner over it. I’m really happy and grateful to have spent the last seven weeks there. It was a wonderful time, and I’m so grateful for everything I learned and for all the wonderful people who made it such a memorable time!

Ändebols, it was a pleasure! I stayed at Katharinas and Magnus farm for 2,5months and simply had a wonderful time there. They are both such generous and lovely persons and one can really tell that they have a lot of experience with hosting woofers. I truly felt integrated in the family aswell as in the whole cafe/gardening/woofing team from day one and kept this feeling till the end. The daily live has a lot to offer. There are many varying tasks to do through your working hours like gardening, weeding, preparing the shop, moving the animals, picking tomatoes, do some fencing, harvesting herbs/vegetables and lots more. It gives you insights in a thriving market garden and you can definitely learn a lot if you are interested. After the work you are basically free (except if you are on cooking duty) to roam around the farm and explore some wildlife, do a bike tour, go swimming in the lake, just chill in the hammock, craft your own stuff or do whatever else you can think of. We even went to some local concerts and visited some other farms. I can highly recommend a stay at this beautiful farm with those wonderful open-minded people! Thanks for everything Katharina and Magnus :)

This is a great place especially for first time Wwoofers. The people are so nice and the work is very fun as well. You get to do so many different things from harvesting to fencing, to moving animals. No matter if you already have some experience in farming or not, you will learn everything you want to know. I felt welcome from day one and Katarina and Magnus are always eager to answer every question you might have. The accommodation is also super nice. The farm itself is so lovely and you get a lake just around the corner. I had such a lovely time at Ändebols, thank you Katarina and Magnus for having me, I will be back!

You can tell that everyone is happy to work and live at Ändebols by the number of surounding smiles. I spent a month and half in Ändebols and it was a dream. Katarina and Magnus and their family are very welcoming and friendly and I really felt part of them. They are super generous by sharing both their working and family life. The typical work day is super interesting, with great variety of activities, and some restful breaks. I really loved that you often change tasks and always discover new things. You never stop learning. It's a very nice school to learn about organic and small-scale farming. What a pleasure to work for good products ! The farm is gorgeous, surrounded by forest and lakes, and wildlife everywhere. This give a crazy playground for afterwork evenings or weekends. This spring was all I could have dreamt and hoped for and I am so grateful for this ! :)

What can I say about this experience? It was incredible! Katarina and Magnus are very attentive people who make sure that everyone feels good. The work at the end of the year was a bit different to the rest of the year, as we were involved in organising the Christmas market. It was really great to be part of this event with the rest of the team. Tack så mycket for everything, I hope to be back again.
