Hej! Are you tired of growing your avocado seed on the windowsill? Or maybe you want to experience what self-sustainability feels like? We offer an escape to the countryside at our small-scale certified organic farm, in the middle of Sweden. Our vision is to give back food its rightful value and rebuilding the relationship with both food and its origin. We grow what we ourselves want to eat. Join us grow, tend, herd, harvest and eat what the farm produces and gain a unique understanding for where food really comes from. Our animal livestock contains of 10 cows, 85 sheep. Every spring the number increases to about three times when the animals give birth to their young. We also have around 30 egg-laying hens. We grow vegetables outside on about 5000 m2 and tomatoes and cucumber in a heated greenhouse of 380 m2. We have a farm shop where we sell our produce and other things we like from our region. The days at the farm depend on the season and weather but can typically look like the following: 08:00 ready for work, daily care for animals or garden tasks, 10:00 coffee/tea break, continued farm work like seeding, weeding and watering, 12:30 lunch together prepared by todays cooking responsible, continued farm work like fence mending, trimming, checking animals, 16:00 end of day and time for a swim or rest, we meet again for dinner at about 19:00. The closest town is Katrineholm, at 20 km, and buses go frequently there (2 km to a bus stop). We invite you to use our bikes and get to know the neighbourhood, or use our canoes and spend a day visiting the beautiful creeks around us. Please observe that we can not welcome smokers (or other uses of tobacco) to our farm since the tomato plants are very sensitive to tobacco. Certifications: KRAV (Main Organic Rulemaking organisation in Sweden) Accomodation: All wwoofers get to sleep in a real bed, in a house. Some wwoofers have to share a room, but we do not mix boys and girls. Some sleeping rooms are in a house without a toilet - you have to walk 40 meters to another house. We supply bed linen and towels. Breakfast is made in a wwoofers kitchen, and some of the meals are cooked and eaten there as well. Internet access available.

I had a very nice time at Ändebols Gard since it is a super idyllic and cozy place which hosts so many nice volunteers and super kind people! You have the opportunity to learn a lot here, whether by running the farm shop, the cafe or maintaining the fields. Katarina is super enthusiastic and experienced which makes it very nice to work with her, Christian and Malou, working there most time of the year, are super great so you can ask them pretty much everything about the farm and Alexander, the gardener, has so much knowledge which he loves to share by explaining and showing every task to the volunteers. I would recommend Ändebols Gard to you in case you are very motivated and enthusiastic about getting your hands dirty on the fields, helping with everything around gardening and like to be part of the team which means to cook meals for a lot of people after working together until around 4pm which is why you should enjoy this remote place and this kind of work rather than perhaps wanting to travel to the city everyday. In return you get rewarded with great Fikas with fresh sourdough bread, locally produced milk and LOADS OF COFFEE as well as opportunities to go on hikes, swimming or picking blueberries and so on. Another highlight for me was preparing some flowers for the cafe and shop with Katarina which was super fun. I am very thankful for all these inspirations and opportunities to learn I got here. Thank you so much Katarina & Magnus!

Ändebols gård was SO GOOD. Always full of people and wonderful food. You always feel comfortable to ask for something from the store and laundry, showers, and bed were great. The farm is so abundant and you will never be bored or lonely. I recommend. You meet lots of people from all over! Thank you Katarina and Magnus for the wonderful experience:-)

I spent two months this summer at Ändebols Gård. It was my first Wwoofing experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. The farm is beautiful, and there is always a great variety of interesting tasks to do, which offers insights into ecological farming and the possibility to learn all kinds of new skills. Magnus and Katarina are very kind and caring hosts who are visibly experienced in having volunteers. The family made me feel very welcome right from the beginning. The community between the Wwoofers and interns was truly special, and we shared our time with cooking and eating together, making music, trips to the lake or the coast, and so much more. Even though I didn't know these people for a long time, they felt like family to me, and I am very thankful that I met them. It is safe to say that my stay at Ändebols was an unforgettable and special time that I'll keep in my heart forever. Tack så mycket!

Hi, I have had an amazing WWOOFing experience at Ändebols gård. I stayed for a little month and immediately felt very welcomed by Katarina and Magnus. I loved having a daily routine, from working together to free time and eating together. The tasks were well explained and you could always ask for help. Seeding, weeding, harvesting, washing.. I learned a lot and liked helping with the different kind of tasks and being part of the WWOOF community. O and I love harvesting beetroots! I also really liked the initiatives among the volunteers, visiting new places, baking together, and not forget the amazing swimming trips to the lakes. Tack så mycket Katarina and Magnus!

I spent five weeks (June-July) at Ändebols gård and I could not have asked for a better first WWOOFing experience. Katarina, Magnus and their family are such kind and welcoming people. All tasks were patiently explained and I never felt overwhelmed by the work. The tasks would vary from day to day (seeding, planting, harvesting...) so I got insights into many aspects of organic farming. Everything was well-organized with cooking and cleaning schedules, too. For me, the atmosphere among the volunteers was truly special, sharing meals, swimming in the lakes and going on hikes together on our off-days. I had the most wonderful time and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Katarina and Magnus!

I spent one month at Ändebols Gård and had a truly wonderful time there. I couldn‘t recommend it more. Katarina and Magnus are really kind people and do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I was carefully introduced to the varying tasks around the farm and had the possibility to lern a lot from people who love what they do. The shared meals and trips after work make the community on the farm really great and work on the farm even more fun. I can truly recommend Ändebols Gård as WWOOFing-place!
