Eco Lodge/Wilderness Adventures
Västra Götaland
From june - september we would be glad to get help in the garden with weeding, planting and some painting. We have some carpenter work too. We even need help in the guesthouse in july and august. Cleaning and making breakfast.
We gain our electricity from our own solar panels and wind turbins and additionally dispose of our own sewage plant. The greenhouses and the garden left in its natural state is build up solely ecological. We plant vegetables and herbs, that we use for our guesthouse. It would be great if you have som experiences in ecological gardening or are used to work with wood. Be prepared to work independently and fix your own food in the guest kitchen.
There is a big lake close to our house where it's nice to paddle canoe or swim on a hot day. Hiking trails start at the house. The sea with nice fishertowns is not far away. There are 🚌 on demand going to the coast. Fast internet access is available . So chill out ist easy. It is easy to get here by train or bus from Gothenburg or Oslo. Contact us for more information.
We would like to host 2 people for about 3-8 weeks with start in the middle/end of june.

We stayed in Tingvall for almost 4 weeks in July-August, and we couldn't have asked for a better first wwoofing experience - especially as we were planning our trip rather last minute and we didn't really know what to expect.
Elke and Ingo are lovely hosts, they never overworked us and they made sure that we could do various tasks during our stay so that we could see and learn different things: from preparing breakfast for our guests, gardening, cleaning, berry picking (and preparing jam from it :)), to small construction work around the house.
Tingvall is located not too far away from Sweden's West Coast, but it is still pretty deep in the countryside inland so there is no public transportation around. However, Elke and Ingo were always helpful to guide us and were also kind enough to call us a taxi when we needed one, which allowed us to visit the coast. The area is also surrounded with lakes, and we had several opportunities to canoe and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the swedish countryside during summer.
We are very thankful for this experience!

We had a wonderful stay at Tingvall Ecolodge and an amazing first woofing experience.
Elke and Ingo gave us a very warm welcome. They made sure that we were comfortable and that communication was good. We often had small meetings to discuss the work to be done, our desires and how we had found this or that thing. We shared some very enriching moments.
We worked mainly in the morning and a little in the afternoon for the house cleaning and carpentry activities. In our free time, Elke and Ingo gave us lots of advice on activities: hiking, sightseeing, and especially on how to canoe on the lake and on the sea.
Although there were fewer tourists than at the Swedish coast (about 25 km away), in Tingvall we had the opportunity to be in contact with guests from the rest of Sweden and Europe.
We will gladly return to Tingvall!
