The farm is situated around 15 km south of Falköping in a beautiful area. We have around 10 - 15 horses that always live outside, cats and two dogs of mixed breed. We also grow our own vegetables and hay/silage for the horses, it is all organically grown. What we need help with is maintenance of the buildings, chopping firewood, forestry, garden work, planting, harvesting, painting and mending fences, household work, grooming the horses and riding. We also need to take care of saddles and bridles. You will learn a lot about western riding and natural horsemanship, ecological farming, permaculture and how to run a farm. The accommodation is in a guesthouse with access to bathroom and kitchen in the main house. We also have a couple of rooms in the house available. You are welcome to keep your own household or share the meals and household work with us. Both vegetarian food and meat is available. We are interested in wwoofers for both shorter and longer periods. You need to be physically and mentally healthy and without allergies to work at the farm. We also prefer if you have at least some experience with horses. There is a small village 5 km away with stores, swimming pool in summer, library, medical center, pizza restaurant and railway station. If you want you can even live in one of our tipis during summer. Welcome to be a part of are team and our Horse camp. Organic methods: Ecological Certifications: It is to expensive for the small production we have. We are mainly selfsufficient. Current projects: Building fences and painting some buildings. Training horses. Internet access available

From Falköping you drive road 47 towards Trollhättan. After 15 km you will see a sign Floby 6, turn left, pass a church and turn right at the next sign Trävattna, follow the road around 5 km until you see a farm with red houses and a barn and red fences a

I stayed at Christina’s farm for 2 1/2 months and it was amazing. All the people that I met were very kind and generous. I had much fun while working with them and also in our free time. Christina is such a great host she was very welcoming and nice and I felt at home very quickly. She prepared amazing meals and I really felt inspired by her love for animals. She’s also an amazing teacher and I’m super happy that I got the opportunity to learn so much about western riding from her but also about garden work, nature and wildlife. I fell in love with all the animals there. They are so lovely and they really have a special place in my heart. Besides taking care of the animals we also had much other things to do. We chopped up and piled up fire wood for the winter, cleaned the greenhouse and worked on the veggiefield so we were able to plant all the vegetables. We also had to repair the fences so we could let the horses out on the bigger fields. All in all it was an awesome experience that I would really recommend to all people that love animals, farm life, working outside and nature. ;) Thank you so much Christina for this amazing time. I hope we see us again.

I stayed for three amazing weeks surrounded by kind people. The place was beautiful, and the food was excellent. The atmosphere was so nice. I learned a lot about horses and other things. It was a great experience and the best WWOOFing place if you love animals. Thank you so much for hosting me!

I planned to stay 3 weeks at Saläng. I stayed a bit longer because it is an awesome place. Christina is a fantastic host, we really cares about her WWOOFers. She makes sure that everything is always alright, and cooks amazing meals. The tasks I participated in were: feeding the horses four times a day, walking the dogs, collecting eggs and letting the chickens and geese in and out, painting the greenhouse, cleaning up some plantbeds,... There's a lot to do but I found it always fun and relaxing. The other WWOOFers I met there were amazing people, we had a really great time together. If you're still looking for a farm and you like working with animals, this is a place for you. Not to forget the very easy communication, my stay was planned 48 hours after I sent my first request. Amazing host, fantastic farm, nice people, lovely animals,... What can I say more to convince you ? Thank you Christina and other WWOOFers for the amazing month, see you (hopefully) soon !

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Saläng Horse Camp for almost three months and had a nice time there. Our day mainly consisted of feeding all the animals in the morning and doing various tasks like chopping wood, cleaning the barn, walking the dogs (which we liked a lot), painting, stitching horse coats, changing hay bails, helping the farrier etc. In our free time we went on many rides through the forests together with Christina and sometimes tourists. She taught us a lot about western riding, so we are very thankful for her knowledge and the horse experience she gave us. We like the way of western riding a lot and will definitely continue it when we find an opportunity :). Christina is a really nice and funny woman who always helped us with the farm work, no matter how heavy or hard the task was. We could work really good together and we took a lot of care of a clean kitchen and living space. We also shared a lot of laughter in the dining room :) The only thing we disliked were lots of conversations in swedish due to other swedish volunteers/guests who could have also spoken english to include us in the conversation. Also if you don't get what Christina tells you, she sometimes repeats it very impatiently. She really loves her geese and they love her, but they are not so fond of other people and randomly attacked and bit us while walking around on the farm. All in all we learned a lot about horsemanship and animal care and would really like to come back in summer!!

I stayed on Christina's farm for more than two months. It was my longest wwoofing stay, and I enjoyed the time there. I did and learned a lot of different things; besides the everyday feeding and taking care of the horse, I also worked on the fence, cutting and piling up firewood for the winter, working on the greenhouse, walking the dogs, cuddling the cats, and more. I had a great time and lots of laughter with Christina and the other wwoofers and I'm really going to miss this place.

We spent a 6 weeks stay there and we had such a good time! Christina and the other woofers were so nice, we really enjoyed our stay. Besides, it's so nice to be surrounded by so many lovely animals all day long ! Christina taught us many enriching things about horses (how to ride and how to make sure of their welfare) in a very educational way. I can only recommend this farm to other woofers!
