Unfortunately full for 2026, but most welcome in 2027! We are a Swedish-Dutch couple who met in Brazil. In other words - we love travelling! :) We have three daughters, Junia born in September 2011, Alma born in October 2013 and Kiara born in September 2016. When Junia was just a few months old we spent a few months travelling in New Zealand where we did some wwoofing, which was a really good experience, especially the cultural exchange. Now we have changes sides and become hosts! We have had fantastic hosting experiences with wwoofers but as we normally live in Stockholm and only spend five weeks in our summer house we are a bit limited to when we can welcome wwoofers. We need most help in end July - beginning August (more berries). In your free time you can enjoy first class nature: hiking, cycling, swimming... There is also the biggest bear park in Northern Europe just out of Orsa and a street music festival every Wednesday during July - beginning August. As we live about 10 km out of Orsa you need your own car in order to get most out of your free time. We prefer to host two wwoofers at the same time - more fun for you - and you will share bedroom. 5-7 days here is the perfect timing. Only non smokers please! Certifications: No professional farm.

We had such a fantastic week staying with Anna, Justus, Junia, Alma, and Kiara at their summer house!! Anna and Justus are warm, energetic, and easy to connect with, as are their lovely kids. We felt very welcome in their home and like we became part of family life. We had many interesting conversations, and felt that the family was genuinely interested in our perspectives and background, as well as in sharing their love for Sweden and its culture with us. We worked mostly with Justus refinishing the stunning old house's windows and preparing the barn for the annual party with the neighbours. The work was very well structured - it was satisfying to spend our working hours well and learn so much! We also picked lots and lots of berries (and enjoyed tasting many of them too!!). Anna is a wonderful cook, and accommodated our vegetarian diet easily. We shared a comfortable room in their home and spent our spare time swimming in the nearby pond, cycling by the lake, and hanging out with the family. It was week we will always remember, and we highly highly recommend you visit them :))

It was a wonderful week with Anna, Justus and the kids! They are an amazing and warmhearted family and we had really good time, picking berries, working wood and going for a swim in the lake nearby... Thank you so much for this lovely stay! Hope to see you again somewhen :)

A fantastic first WWOOF experience! Anna and Justus are warm and thoughtful hosts who take excellent care of you, including amazing home-cooked meals. Their kids are also a lot fun, just as friendly as their parents. Beautiful people, beautiful landscape <3

I really had the best start I can imagine for my Sweden trip here! The holiday home of the family is on the countryside so you can enjoy a really beautiful landscape there. Me and another Volunteer helped Anna and Justus with the berry picking, painting the house and other small things that incurred. In the freetime it was a lot of fun to be on the trampoline with Junia, Alma & Kiara or to play something with them. The family also showed us a lot of nice places. We either hiked there or drove with the bikes or the car. Anna and Justus always prepared really good meals for us all that we enjoyed together. In the old farmhouse, which is arranged with beautiful old furniture, I even had my own room. I thank you for the great time I could spend with you all! Tack tack! Amelie

Unfortunately I was stung by bee more than 8 spots, so I could not go there. However I bought a ticket and exchanged messages with Anna. She was very kind, her response was very quick so I really appreciate her very much! She understood and gave me a warm words when I said I could not visit them because of the bee stung. I would love to visit them sometime soon!

Flexibility, trust, hospitality, gratitude, open-minded: the keywords of my stay with Anna, Justus and the 3 little (big) girls. I could only stay for little more than 3 days (due to my plans), but we made the most out of it. I felt at home from the moment I arrived until I left. Everybody is very helpful and the 3 girls welcome you as a fourth sister :-)! The work was challenging (painting, digging a hole) and very satisfying! And every once and a while you can chase the chickens or ... the kids :-). Anna and Justus did their utmost too to introduce the region: they suggested hiking trails, swims in a nearby lake, cycling tours (I could lend theirs) and thanks to Justus I finally saw a moose! We picked cloudberries, raspberries ... In short: we worked and did a lot! Tack! Thank you! Dankjewel!
