Family farm

This is a small family farm/homestead located in a very small village in the forest. We used to have animals as you can see in the photos, but now my two children are in their 20th and have moved away from home. So I, Lena, currently live here by myself. For some years now I want to be more flexible and be able to travel, but I will eventually have animals again in the future.
I'm 53 years old and work as a high school teacher in Spanish and Social and political studies. I also work as a journalist for a regional newspaper. In the summer Hollidays I would love to have some help with gardening and cultivation. The work here this summer could be to take down old fences from corrals we don't use anymore, take in fire wood to an outhouse, clean the garden, dig the potato land, some cultivation. In the end of the summer you can also harvest potatoes and other vegetables, pick berries and do jam. It would also be nice with some help in the kitchen and other things.
You live in a small house, a typical Swedish friggebod. It´s 10 m2 and has three beds, but we recommend you stay maximum two persons, unless you come three friends together. In the guesthouse there is electricity, but no bathroom, so you use the bathroom, eat and use wifi in our house.
I also have a little wooden house in the Ecuadorian Amazon where you are welcome to stay if you help fixing the house and the fruit-tree garden. Together with a local man you can help fixing the paths so it will be easier and dryer to walk. My neighbours in Ecuador have a place where you can do voluntary work too. Its called Zanja Arajuno. You can google it ;)

Closest main airport is Arlanda, Stockholm. From there you can take a train for Ludvika and there I pick you up with my car. There is a bus stop in the village Klenshyttan and another one in the village Blötberget.
