I am a 61 year old woman living on a small property close by the sea on the island of Gotland. I work with wind power at the island's university. I live alone but my two children 27 and 25 years old, both wwoofers who have wwoofed in Hawaii and India, are sometime home. Gotland is the largest island in the Baltic Sea with 60 000 inhabitants, it's a 3 hour ferry ride from mainland Sweden. I have a fairly small organic garden where I also try to use Permaculture principles in the summer I grow tomatos, peppers, spinach, lettuce, potatoes, carrots, asparragus, kale, beans, beetroot, swiss chard, zucchini, herbs. My garden also has raspberry bushes, strawberries, apple trees, a plum tree and a large walnut tree. I have a green house that was build from recycled windows. Work: -4-6 hours a day -2 days off a week, can be weekends or weekdays as agreed Tasks include: -Potting, seeding and planting vegetables -Mulching and weeding -Collecting seaweed from the nearby beach for fertilizer -Painting -Forest clearing -Chopping wood Accommodation: -I can host 1-2 people at a time -Small cabin in the garden that houses 2 people, with electricity -Internet and computer access available in the main house -All meals are provided and are both cooked individually or together Other -Bicycles are available to borrow, it's a 8km ride to the island's largest town of 20 000 where there are cafés, bars, shops, cinemas -The beach is only a 5 minute walk from the house, where it's lovely to go swimming in the summer! -There's a larger eco-village 4km away where there will be possibility to visit Internet access available

Gotland
From Stockholm you have to take a comuter train or bus to Nynäshamn. From Nynäshamn you take the ferry Destination Gotland to the island (3 hour journey). I will pick you up from the ferry terminal.
