The farm is situated in an open landscape with a forest nearby. It has a beautiful garden where we cultivate a wide variety of vegetables, fruit trees, berries and flowers. We also have honey production with 10 beehives. Our production is ecologically grown. We are 2 people working on the farm and also a Latvian couple working part-time. On the farm there is a small shop where we sell the products. We also take part in a local organisation with different events. The concept is that we sell our own products that are locally grown. You will work with harvesting the vegetables and bunching the roots. We sell the products in a small shop on the farm. You work 6 hours a day with flexibility. We prepare the meals and eat together. There will be a variety of vegetables, fish, chicken and eggs. You have a good accomodation with high standard. We have bicycles for tours in nice surroundings. You go by train from Stockholm in 45 min. to Enköping. Then you go by bus 14 km. to Frösthults church and the farm is 300 m away. Certifications: - Internet access available

I had a really great time at Malby Gard. Per is a really nice person, we had a lot of really interesting conversations, and I got to take many walks with Linus, his dog. I would recommend this farm to anyone who enjoys nice conversations and laughs, nice cute dogs and beautiful peaceful landscapes and farm working. Thank you !!!

My experience could have been better only if it was longer (unfortunately I spent only 5 days at Malby Gard). I arrived at Per's farm after 5 days of a bad woofing experience in another farm in the area. Per welcomed me and the Belgian girl I "ran away" with, warmly and generously to his beautiful farm. Large and welcoming rooms, simple and delicious food that we cooked in shifts or together, small tasks that were always different (picking vegetables, cleaning the barns, painting the farm, cooking) and without any stress. Tai chi before breakfast, nice chats and discussions sitting together at the table, cycling in the countryside around the farm, Per's stories and all the treasures that the farm holds. All this made my - unfortunately too short - stay at Malby Gard an enriching, relaxing, but also stimulating and poetic experience. I really hope to return.

We had a marvellous time at Per's. No day was the same - he showed us a lot if different types of work at the farm like weeding, harvesting, cutting woods, taking care of the bees and making honey, painting, driving the tractor, making flower bouquets and bringing out straw. In our free time we explored the beautiful area around the farm by foot and bike. Per and Linus (the dog) took us on two very nice hikes! We had a very good time playing card games and chatting with Per on the terrace. Tack så mycket Per och Linus!

I spent a great week at Mälby with Per, as well as another wwoofer. During working hours, we did a lot of weeding, checked on the bees, fixed frames for the hives and put up polls and nets for the beans. We took turns in preparing delicious meals and spent most evenings playing card games together, which was very fun. Per also made sure we discovered the area by taking us on bike rides, hikes, and even golfing with the dog Linus. I strongly recommend staying at Mälby to anyone wanting to discover vegetable farming !

I spent 2 wonderful weeks on the farm with Per, Linus (the dog) and Lea (the other German woofer). It was my first time woofing and I really didn't know what to expect, but it was definitely better than I could have ever imagined! No two days were the same - Per gave us the opportunity to try many different things: Harvesting vegetables, cutting wood, harvesting honey (my highlight!), painting a Swedish house with the traditional red paint, biking around the neighborhood, playing golf, going hiking.... One of the best things I remember is the great food we got! Every morning started with yoga and Qi Gong (if you want to try it, I highly recommend it!) and a delicious breakfast (like porridge with berries from the garden). In the morning we worked for a couple of hours until we prepared lunch in the kitchen. We always took what the garden gave (e.g. kale, beans, zucchini, chard) and made a crazy variety of different salads and other (vegetarian) dishes. After a little siesta, we continued working, playing games or just enjoying "FIKA" (swedish coffee/teatime) with homemade cake. Then we prepared dinner (which was just as delicious as lunch) and the day always ended with a warming cup of homemade golden milk (which Per prepared for us). Thank you, Per, for the great time I got to spend on your farm! I wish you all the best! Ramona

I spend four weeks with Per at Mälby Gård and the first two weeks also with Ramona, an other wwoofer from Germany. It was an awesome time with a lot of new experiences for me. Per is so kind and generous! Alsways interesed to offer you tasks you like. We harvested for the farm shop/ gardbutik and ones for a day at the market in Enköping. I took the first time in my life care of bees. The work was always calm and easygoing with a lot of fun :) Beside working, we had the chance to visit cities in the weekends and Per and his friend Peo also took their time to show us the nature surroundings with some hikes. We were cooking all meals together and it was allways the best! We had some great every day habits, like qigong and yoga and of course golden milk. The accommodations are good, we had singel rooms upstairs. Ramona and I shared a bathroom (including washing machine). I will always keep the time in good memory and would absolutely recommend a stay at Mälby Gård! Tack så mycket Per!
