Family farm, Community farm
Skåne
We are four people living on the farm. Victor, Britta and our children Joa (12) and Niko (9). We grow mainly vegetables on 1,2 ha but we have lots of side projects, seed saving from wild plants, grain and bean growing and hazelnuts. We sell the vegetables through our CSA and deliver vegetable boxes every week from late May until December. We're inspired by regenerative agriculture and no-dig thinking but struggle a little to make it work on our scale. Other things we like to do are playing guitar, eating chili, playing chess, walking in the woods, climbing trees, playing soccer.
Organic methods: Green Manure, Horse Manure, No dig, mulching in the greenhouse. Use of plastic mulch to kill weeds, welcoming different kind of insects.
Certifications: KRAV
Current projects: We are putting up a new greenhouse.
Then it's the regular gardening tasks with weeding, planting, sowing and harvesting.

Our Time at Britta and Victors was simply amazing. Not only are they realy good company and fun to be around, they are also realy good Farmers and very good at what they do. We aspecialy apreciated the balance between teaching us and trusting in our abilities. They always took time to explain stuff that we are interested in and pass on background knowledge.
Their Farm is well organized, tidy and shows their years of experiance. We Always got realy clear instructions and fellt apreciated and well taking care of.
We learned a lot at Britta and Victors and feel ready to start our own Farmproject now.
Work aside, Britta, Victor and the Kids are realy welcoming and we realy enjoyed the time we spent eating and cooking together, our discussions and the boardgamenights. They are so generous with the food and we left with a big Box full of vegetables and so many new ideas. We Hope to See you all again soon!

I had some wonderful days on Kollinge Torpargård. Britta, Victor and the children are really lovely. There were different working tasks, e.g. planting, harvesting veggies and seeds for seedsaving and greenhouse work with the tomatoes. You can reach Helsingborg and Malmö within 1 hour by bus/train. I am impressed by all the work Britta and Victor put into their family farm and I wish them all the best!

I spent two weeks wwoofing at Kollinge Torpargård with Victor, Britta, and the children – it was a really great time! It was my first wwoofing experience and they were very welcoming and nice, I immediately felt at home.
The farm is located beautifully with nature surrounding it, but also not too far from nearby villages, from which there were good public transport connections to Helsingborg and Malmö.
The work on the farm was diverse and fun – nothing too hard or difficult for inexperienced people like me and you could always take a break if you needed one – and the instructions were easy to understand and informative. We worked for about 4-5 hours a day and could relax or do other stuff in the afternoon.
During my stay, there were three other wwoofers staying at the place as well and it was cool getting to know the family as well as the wwoofers. We played card and board games together, watched films, played football or went hiking and swimming on the weekends. It was extremely easy to connect with everyone and I could improve my Swedish by talking to the kids and Britta – or at least listening to them and trying to respond in Swedish :D
The food was also great – especially the home-baked bread and the self-made ice cream – and, of course, always fresh from the fields.
I really enjoyed my time at the farm and with the family and would love to come back some time! Tack så mycket for those great two weeks!

Wwofing at the Kollinge Torpargård gives you not only an unique opportunity to get an insight in community supported agriculture and everything related to this but also to get to know utterly nice and open-minded people who run this amazing CSA. I could list up all the positive sides and advantages which Kollinge Torpargård has for people who are doing Wwofing there but it would get too long so I just use the opportunity to say thank you that I could stay in this summer. Jag hoppas att vi ses igen!
