2026 update: we can’t take any more wwoofers this year, as we have already accepted those we can host. You are welcome to take part in work on our small homestead south of Sundsvall for shorter or longer periods. We need help in the kitchen garden, with caring for our hen and ducks, milking goats and making cheese, repairing tools and buildings... always something to do! We will be happy to show you what we know and eager to learn from you. Around is a beautiful countryside , river, forest, mountains... you will have your own room and share WC with shower with other guests. Organic methods: Skonsam jordbearbetning, täckodling, växtföljd, samodling, enligt Förbundet för organisk-biologisk odlings principer. Certifications: We use organic/biological methods but are not certified. Internet access available via wifi.

It was my first wwoofing-experience, but definitly not my last! Lena and Lasse gave me a warm welcome and let me be a part of their life on the farm. During the three weeks I spend there, I learned how to milk goats, make hay, weeding (which can actually be fun!), dry herbs, make cheese, prepare Simma and much more! But I didn’t just learn a lot about farming, I also learned about Swedish life and Swedish culture. Thank you both so much for the wonderful and educational time I spent with you!

So grateful for this incredible stay with an exceptional host. Lena made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She shared her culture, her stories, her delicious meals and even her friends with us ! We were able to do the milking, to participate to the cheesemaking, to take care of the garden, the hay… The bikes allowed us to discover the villages around and the sea. Life at the farm felt so peaceful, we already miss the place. Thank you so much Lena for your kindness and for introducing us to your beautiful life !

We received the all-inclusive package with Lena. We didn't just feel like part of the family—we truly were. Lena is a special, warm-hearted and open person. Our work was very varied and fulfilling: Caring for the animals, gardening, making hay for the goats, maintenance, cooking and baking among other things. We would especially like to mention the shared meals, which always led to interesting and entertaining conversations.

Our first wwoofing-experience, but not our last thanks to Lena and her wonderful farm. Already from the first minute we felt welcome and involved. We got to join milking the goats, looking after the hens and other things that has to be done on a small farm. Our four year old daughter also felt at strong band to the farm. Lena was so patient and took time to let her try milking and help cooking. She really got the feeling of contribution thanks to how Lena arranged the work. The way of working was so nice because everyone could do the work they felt fitted them the most, but still got to try everything. All in all a magnificent stay! Nice place, nice conversations and really warm people.

I was with Lena and Lasse only for quite a short amount of time, but they still made every effort to let me feel welcome and appreciated! They are both super easy going and warm people, that are always up for a chat! I really enjoyed spending time around them and their animals and would love to come back sometime :)

Maja and I stayed a month at Lena and Lasse's farm. We felt very comfortable there. We were allowed to milk the goats every day and take them for walks. We also did the rest of the work in the garden and started dismantling a house. Moreover we were allowed to watch how cheese is made, which was very interesting. Lasse is a very funny man who told us a lot about history. He also goes to Ukraine from time to time to do volunteer work. He lives to help other people, which we think is wonderful. Lena has everything under control and knows what needs to be done. She knows a lot about gardening and is involved in several communities, so we were able to go to the community garden with her. Overall, they both love their animals and we are pretty sure that the animals love them too. It was an incredible time and we learned a lot. And that didn't just apply to farm work, we even learned how to shoot. We can recommend the farm 100%. And most importantly: always wear a helmet!
