I was with Lena and Lasse only for quite a short amount of time, but they still made every effort to let me feel welcome and appreciated! They are both super easy going and warm people, that are always up for a chat! I really enjoyed spending time around them and their animals and would love to come back sometime :)

Maja and I stayed a month at Lena and Lasse's farm. We felt very comfortable there. We were allowed to milk the goats every day and take them for walks. We also did the rest of the work in the garden and started dismantling a house. Moreover we were allowed to watch how cheese is made, which was very interesting. Lasse is a very funny man who told us a lot about history. He also goes to Ukraine from time to time to do volunteer work. He lives to help other people, which we think is wonderful. Lena has everything under control and knows what needs to be done. She knows a lot about gardening and is involved in several communities, so we were able to go to the community garden with her. Overall, they both love their animals and we are pretty sure that the animals love them too. It was an incredible time and we learned a lot. And that didn't just apply to farm work, we even learned how to shoot. We can recommend the farm 100%. And most importantly: always wear a helmet!

I spent almost 2 wonderful weeks on the farm with Lena, Lasse, the animals and Caitlin who i met there and took to heart. It was my first wwoofing experience and I am totally thrilled! I had a super nice time in which I learned to milk goats and to cook from the milk cheese and traditional Swedish dishes and to use self-grown and harvested vegetable varieties. I also learned a lot about Sweden and Lasses "short" stories and the sauna visits rounded off the stay perfectly. Thank you very much for the unforgettable time of a lot of laughter, learning, sun, sauna and cordiality. Would come back anytime and miss you already!

I spent about two wonderful weeks with Lena, Lasse, and the animals. I was really happy that they were interested in Japan, although I wish I could have explained things better. Every morning started with milking the goats, followed by enjoying coffee by the river. After that, there was always plenty to do- harvesting vegetables, cutting grass, and more.
I learned a lot, like how to make cheese and bread using goat milk. The meals Lena and Lasse prepared were always delicious, and I was so glad to experience traditional Swedish food. I also enjoyed trying the sauna for the first time!
The goats were smart and calm, and taking them for walks was so much fun. They also took me to the community garden and into town, where I was able to meet many people and have various experiences.
Their home was filled with books and records, and I really appreciated the chance to explore different cultures. I'm truly grateful for how thoughtful and caring they were throughout my stay.
Tack så mycket!

For our first Wwoofing experience, we had the chance to spend three wonderful weeks alongside Lena and her animals. Our heads and hearts are filled with so many memories: milking the goats in the morning, the endless walks and cuddles in the afternoon, our moments of complicity and learning in the kitchen, our Fika and discussions by the river, our canoeing and berry picking expeditions, and so much more. We felt totally integrated into the community and met lots of lovely people. We are very grateful to have met a person as generous and caring as Lena. Thank you, danke, merci and see you soon!

It took me only few minutes before feeling at home here. Lena is a wonderful host: she makes people feel comfortable, she is a good teacher, she knows how to ask for help as much as she always takes care of letting us taking time for ourselves and being honest on what we like or dislike doing. I stayed only ten days but it felt like I have been there an entire life! The time was very well balanced in between moments of working and pauses. Both were great. Lena knows how to appreciate every moment: taking care of the animals, having a fika by the river, working hard in the field to get some hay, laughing with the cat around some puzzle in progress, etc. It's inspiring. I learned a lot from working with animals and vegetables but also from discovering their lifestyle. I saw how Lena makes her own bread and cheese and observed the harmony that she found in between work and life. It felt like both were mixed and that's very meaningful.
I feel very grateful that I got the chance to be at Lena's for my first wwoofing experience.
