Enjoy beautiful countryside in the north of Sweden! You are asked mainly to do weeding but I´m also making new land to grow crops and we take care of a meadow with wild flowers. I also pick wild berries. Only 3 train-hours from Stockholm, I arrange pick-up. Close to the sea the farm is in a beautiful setting with forest, hills and small bicycle friendly paths. There are 7 houses on the farm also to take care of. You will live in a small or a large traditional cottage close to main building. Sometimes there are horses and sheep on the farm. There is a restaurant 1km from farm. Traditional Swedish food, we eat meat but we (together) can cook for vegetarians. Owner (woman 60+) is authorized guide and knows a lot about forests, flowers, history and gardening - you will learn a lot! Organic methods: This is a small, private farm with vegetables for own use. No pesticides used. Internet access available (wifi). NEW UPDATE: I so far accepted 5 woofers this summer. The remaining summer 2026 will be just me, family and friends! Thanks a lot for all nice requests - and a million thanks to the visitors! In case you are planning for 2027: Couples or two friends together are more likely to be accepted. And send your requests early in the season :)

Lotte was an excellent host. She is incredibly welcoming and brings you into the culture of Sweden. She goes out of her way to show you the local spots and she is very knowledgeable about the history as well! The work is great, and she always has her 10 o’clock fika! And Lotte is the best baker, and a great cook! The housing she provides is beautiful and cozy and the land she is on is a dream. She is close to many woods, water, and a nice restaurant. You can always find a place to swim whether it is the lake, river, or sea! This was my first time wwoofing and I am grateful that I got to do that with Lotte.

Truly couldn’t have asked for a better first WWOOFing experience. Lotte makes you feel welcome from the very first moment you arrive at her beautiful farm, and I am still impressed by her knowledge of Swedish history, culture, and nature. I got to help her in the raspberry garden and did some weeding in her vegetable beds. In my free time, I experienced the best fika, had interesting conversations with her and the wonderful people I met there, and gained so many insights into Swedish culture and everyday life. She is a very caring, funny, and warm-hearted person. I would love to come back one day!

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Lotte and truly enjoyed every part of my stay! It was my very first WWOOF experience, and honestly I could not have wished for a better one. From the very beginning I felt welcomed and included in everyday life on the farm. I learned so many new things during my stay, like pruning apple trees, creating a raspberry garden, and digging the land. We spent such a beautiful and unforgettable time together, with many interesting conversations, shared meals, and lovely moments. I was actively involved in daily life and even got to take walks with her lovely dog, which I really enjoyed. In my free time I explored the beautiful surroundings by bike, enjoyed the peaceful nature, and met many kind people. Thank you so much Lotte for this unforgettable experience — I would absolutely love to come back one day!

I had a really good time, work which I really enjoyed and also free time for some tours with the bike and to the lake, in the town etc. Thank you very much for being so friendly and to let me be part of your family in this short time :-)
