Certified family farm growing 7000 sea buckthorn bushes, rhubarb and asparagus with organic methods.
Skåne
Hey there. We are a family of 3. We have started an ecological project of cultivating sea buckthorn. 2016 we planted 7000 bushes and will now try to cope with this completely organic (KRAV). This is a big challenge, both for us and to keep up with the weed and learn about nature and We live in Förslöv in southern Sweden and our field is 5 minutes from our home, most days you can borrow a car or bikes. We need help with a little planting, a lot of weed cleaning and some other projects such as website etc. In 2019 we also planted rhubarb and we are going on to asparagus too. All organic of course. The season work is harvesting and help us ceep up with the weeds. We have modern equipment and two tractors.
We live in a normal house, and accommodation will be in a small but cute caravan on the property. You will have your own toilet but shared shower.
The rest of the house is free to use together with us. If you travel together as a couple or friends its easier, because we only have one room. If you have your own camper van its perfekt to park beside our house to sleep in.
Food is self served in the morning and lunch is most days probably something you can bring to the field, but the evening meal we do prepare it together, depend on our schedule,
When you stay with us you are a part of the family, so cleaning the house and help us in the garden is not part of the working hours, its apart of being with our family.
We are ok with accepting children and families. We have great places for you to camp, at the field, if you want. We accept dogs. Happy travelling!

I had a really good time with Staffan, Jessica and Ville. I stayed for 3 weeks in August, they made me feel a part of the family and shared a lot of nice moments with them. You get to learn a lot at the field about farm work, sea buckthorns and organic farming.
Also, the beach is nice and pretty close if you go by bike.
It was a great experience :)

A friend of mine and I stayed at Jessica’s, Staffan’s, and Ville’s place for a week at the beginning of June. We harvested a bit of rhubarb and asparagus and did quite a bit of weeding. It was a really nice time. Even though it was just a short stay, we learned a lot about sustainable farming and working with nature, and I’m sure that if you stay longer, you can learn so much more.
We were part of a very open and welcoming family who always cared about us, paid attention to our working hours, always had time for interesting conversations, and showed us beautiful places in the surrounding area – the west coast is stunning! We also did fun things together outside of work and enjoyed delicious homemade food.
Thank you!!
