“With a sustainable focus where animals and vegetables interact” My name is Angelika and I’m an eco-farmer living my dream on a beautiful farm in Norra Björstorp, in the heart of Österlen. In 2017, I left the city life behind to create something meaningful – a place where both humans and animals can thrive in harmony with nature. Just days after first seeing this farm on May 17, the purchase was complete, and my journey began. Today, we raise free-range animals and grow vegetables in living soil, without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides. Everything we do follows the rhythm of the seasons and a strong belief in regenerative, natural farming. The farm is home to a small farm shop and a charming café open during high season. We also host markets and events in summer, and are building a creative community space in a small off-grid village we call Dragkroken – complete with vans, tiny houses, converted caravans, and a brand-new outdoor summer bar and kitchen. Welcome to my little paradise! 🐓🐑🌱🐾 CHICKENS • SHEEP • VEGETABLES • FLOWERS • FARM WORK • FORESTRY What do we do here on the farm? Grow, harvest, and pack vegetables and cut flowers for the REKO ring, our farm shop, café, and restaurants. Daily animal care, especially for chickens and sheep. Direct sale of meat and produce – no middlemen. Deliveries to REKO pick-up points and local businesses. Ongoing projects: building, fence work, land care, event prep. Which animals live on the farm? ~150 chickens (mixed breeds) ~150 Gotland sheep (ewes and lambs) 2 dogs 3 farm cats Season overview: SPRING – Planting, lambing, animal care SUMMER – Harvest, weeding, animal care, farm shop & café AUTUMN – Harvest, sheep rotation, start of slaughter season, winter prep WINTER – Animal care, forestry, farm planning, construction WWOOF info: We work 5 days/week, with 2 days off (usually together). Workday starts at 08:00 with a short morning meeting. Accommodation is in a cozy van, tiny house or cabin in Dragkroken village – a welcoming off-grid space with access to kitchen, shower, toilet, and shared meals. We often eat and fika together – food is provided. Bicycles are available for local transport. Pick-up can be arranged from Brösarp bus station (7 km away). Minimum stay is 3 weeks, but longer stays are encouraged. We love curious and hands-on people who enjoy learning and contributing. It's a big plus if you have skills or interest in: Organic growing Animal husbandry DIY/building Forestry Creative thinking & community living As a Wwoofer, you’re part of daily life on the farm – and we hope it will feel like home while you're here. Does this sound like your kind of place? Then come join us! We’d love to hear from you and hopefully see you on the farm.

We stayed at Angelikas Gård for ten days and had a great time there. We felt very welcome from the beginning and were sad to leave the place after the awesome marknad weekend. Our main tasks were weeding, harvesting and doing the chickens (collecting eggs, cleaning and refilling water and food). We met so nice on the farm and loved to hear the stories from the people living or working on the farm. Thank you, Angelika, for that experience.

I was at Angelikas Gård, from October to December. I lived alone in a small cabin with my own kitchen. It was quite cold in the winter months. I was there with two other wwoofers. We shared an outdoor toilet. We started at 8 am, 5 days a week. We worked until around 12 and had lunch for an hour. We cooked by ourselves, sometimes for us wwoofers and sometimes for everyone. We worked until 4. We were told that the days would get shorter than 7 hours soon. Due to the workload we got to quit at 3.30 towards the end of december. Some days we worked overtime with no compensation. All days consisted of caring for the animals in the morning and evening, split between wwoofers when we worked the same days. Usually one other task every day. Some weeks were quite monotonous. I spent many days braiding garlic for the christmas markets. Other tasks I did during my time were: harvesting, pack vegetables, fencing and cleaning. Some days I got a lot of instructions from Angelika or her partner Kamilla, some days I worked alone or with instructions from the other wwoofers. The stress of the host could sometimes affect the wwoofers. I got the impression that they were overwhelmed which affected our workload and the intensity. When I arrived I felt welcomed at the farm. I had a good time with Angelika, Kamilla and Sara. I imagine that you hang out more in the summer, most people kept to themselves this time of the year.I am happy with my experiences but maybe summer is better

In Summer 2022 I spent 3 weeks at Angelika’s Gård. I have to recommended this farm. Angelika and all the other people on the farm welcome you into the community with open arms. The atmosphere at work is very harmonious. Individual needs are respected during the work time. You can help with harvesting, weeding, preparing and packing orders. Special are the markets which are every two weeks in summer time. A lot of people come here to present their goods and many guests visit the farm. The accommodation (trailer park with outside kitchen, little living room, fire place) and the food provided for the team is excellent. The vegetables right from the farm just tastes great. The team prepares lunch every day on their own. If you are looking for a place with heart, this is the right place. You just have to feel well here. Thanks for a great time!

Anjelika and Sara are two fantastic people and incredible hosts.  Consider yourself lucky if you they accept your visit request.  You will learn a lot about biodynamic and ecologically sound vegetable gardening on a small commercial scale.  Additionally you will get a chance to work with chickens, pigs and sheep.  The accommodations are great, the hosts are super nice, patient and kind people.  Expect to work hard, but that was exactly what our family signed up for!  We had the pleasure of staying with Angelika, Sara and the two great dogs Valla and Aura for 3 weeks during planting season.  We were a father, mother and 13 year old son and worked on:  outfitting a chicken coop, care and climbing support installation for 800 tomato plants, planting onions, leeks, salad greens, cucumbers, carrots, weeding garlic, mowing, starting seeds and much more!  We ate together nearly every night and Angelika was very thorough, clear, fair and timely in letting everyone know what their jobs would be for the week and for the day.  She also was very patient in explaining the tasks, checking on progress and making sure we were always well cared for.  If there stars to award, we would give this Wwoof host 5 stars for every category!  It was our first Wwoofing experience and we couldn’t have asked for a better host.  We loved it!!
