Family home and garden - urban
Dalarna
My garden, which was once a commercial garden, is now a small business for household needs and for my guesthouse guests. I grow vegetables, berries, herbs and fruit which I then use when cooking for my guests. My business is small, so I don't always have guests.
There are chickens, a rabbit and a cat.
Besides gardening, I renovate my house and furniture.
I have a website where you can see a bit more of what this looks like.

The location is a typical tiny Swedish village with only a few (red !) houses where as I found out, nabours are not just nabours but more like family.
Anna-Ro has a big house to accommodate both guests and her (considerable) visiting family.
There is a fruit, vegetable and flower garden and a greenhouse.
All this requires a lot of attention in which I took part for two weeks.
But first, Anne-Ro took me to the Midwinterfest in the nearby village, which was very special to see. Thanks for that.
Weather permitting there was a lot to do in the gardens and when it rained there were various indoor jobs.
The last days I did a project restoring an overgrown hedge of the nabour, the result of which I was quite proud.
I hope to come back and check how it all has worked out.
Thanks to Anne-Ro, Erik, Anna and the other villagers making me feel so welcome in their village !
Wim
PS.
Anne-Ro prefers to speak German (beside Swedish), but since I presume most readers will understand English whereas German is less widely known, I wrote this in English and not in German. Bitte Verzeihung Anne-Ro ;-)

I spent 2 wonderful weeks with Anne.
Generous, welcoming and kind.
Her house is very clean, tidy and pleasant to live in.
I recommend it if you want to spend some time working in a quiet and peaceful environment.
Thank you again Anne.
