We are a newly established organic farm specializing in vegetables, apples, and buckwheat, which we use for baking gluten-free bread. Our primary need is assistance with vegetable cultivation. This role offers the chance to gain insight into the start-up of a larger vegetable farm certified according to KRAV standards. Additionally, there are various practical tasks available on the farm for those interested in hands-on projects. Our day begins at 8:00 a.m. after breakfast. Tasks are assigned collaboratively, with a focus on creating variety. However, the primary activities will revolve around cultivating and harvesting. Torben, who oversees the farm, is a former Waldorf and Feldenkrais teacher with a passion for cultivation, nature, music, and anthroposophy. Angela is a medical eurythmist and family coach, working in internet-based counseling and organizing conferences. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm!

I had a wonderful two-week stay here. Even though my English isn’t perfect, they listened carefully and explained everything clearly, which made me feel comfortable. It had been a long time since I last rode a bike, so I was a bit nervous. They kindly lent me a children's bike so my feet could touch the ground. It took me about 30 minutes to get to the farm, but I think others could do it in about 15 minutes. I enjoyed the ride, especially the scenery, though it took some time to get used to. My main task was harvesting vegetables. I was surprised by how big the zucchinis were! I also helped clean the greenhouse, build a fence around apple trees, and sift buckwheat. Around 10 a.m., we had fika with buckwheat bread and coffee. Lunch was always plentiful and delicious. I also enjoyed the coffee afterward. I wish I could have spoken more with everyone during meals. For breakfast and dinner, we cooked on our own, which was fun because I got to try different recipes. I also enjoyed cooking for Torben and Angela. Torben and Angela always looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated that. Personally, I enjoyed lighting the stove in my room—it was relaxing. Since evenings were free, it might be a bit quiet for those who aren’t used to spending time alone. On weekends, we had time off and could take the bus to nearby towns or bike to the lake. The other WWOOFer was very kind and helpful, which made the work and meals even more enjoyable. Thank you!

My stay at the farm was lovely. From day one we had interesting and deep conversations. The food we ate was so good and I felt very spoiled. I also felt heard by Torben when I brought up worries regarding my ability to work the hours that were expected of me. It ended up fine thanks to us being able to talk about it, for which I am very grateful. The work itself was interesting. I learnt a lot about harvesting and preserving vegetables. It was inspiring to see how Torben had crafted his own solutions to certain aspects of the farm work, for example a system for drying the buckwheat grains among other things. The overall atmosphere of the farm and its surroundings was also just so nice. Thank you so much for the lovely time at your farm!

This farm was my first WWOOF experience, and I was very satisfied. Torben and Angela are wonderful people, and it was a pleasure to spend time with them. The accommodation was located a few kilometers from the farm – I had a private room in a separate house. The food our hosts prepared for us was delicious. Thank you very much!

I’ve been lucky enough to spend to wonderful weeks in the Swedish countryside with Angela and Torben. This has been my first time as a woofer and I could not have wished for a better experience. Each day has been unique and filled with new tasks, learning opportunities, memories and wonderful food. You can not come to a more open and welcoming family than Angela and Torben. Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity, would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

My partner & I spent 3 wonderful weeks at Torben & Angela’s farm. It was our 1st time WWOOFing & doing farm work, and though we (well, maybe 1 of us more than the other :)) were nervous about how it would go, we had a great experience on many levels. We spent our days planting, weeding & preparing beds. We worked with buckwheat using interesting older machinery, devising ways to clean & sort buckwheat seeds and making flour (that we got to enjoy for lunches as galettes!). Torben always made sure to provide us varied & meaningful work to do, and was mindful about the weather & our ability to perform tasks. He was a great teacher and gave clear guidance. We felt it was unique to learn from Torben who approaches farming in a way that honors nature—following biodynamic principles—and that is thoughtful about technology usage. Beyond the work, the farm & house we lived in was beautiful, peaceful. Our days were absorbing, it was a wonderful experience of an intention & soulful way of living. We shared delicious meals cooked by Angela & the food from the farm fueled us. We enjoyed conversations together that spanned culture and nature; the quiet wisdom we learned from Torben and Angela will stay with us for lifetimes. Torben and Angela have created a lovely pocket in the world, and we feel happy to have lived life within it. We highly recommend this to anyone at all, from experienced people who want to join a great farm to those who are totally new and looking to try things out
