Cozy organic farm in the forests of Småland

We are the 7th generation on the farm, running a small-scale farm of 13 HA.
We have pigs that are connected to the gene bank for endangered Swedish land breeds. They plow the fields well.
Mountain cow for own milk and meat.
Rabbits, chickens, ducks and horses.
We also have minipig breeding, golden retriever breeding and maine coon breeding.
On the farm live mother Jessica 38 years, father Stefan 37 years, children Love 5 years and Oliver 3 years.
What to do on the farm;
Animal husbandry, feeding, mocking, birth, deliveries.
Building and construction.
Forestry, weeding.
Coockin, cleaning.
Babysitting
Fencing, ditching, driving a tractor.
Organic cultivation and plant management.
This is how a day can look like;
A lovely day together with animals and children on the farm. Where we are helped with the daily chores. Animal husbandry and care and construction.
Sometimes we can have a cozy game night with a glass of wine in the evening or a relaxing bath at the nearby bathing area in the summertimes.

There is a bathhouse nearby, an outdoor bathhouse and 2 bathing areas (lakes)
A nice cozy local park with various antics such as sing-alongs and activities.
1 hour drive to the coast, Halmstad, Helsingborg, Växjö.
My interests are of course animals, nature and farming. But also dancing and pleasant evenings.

Vi är den sjunde generationen på gården och driver ett småskaligt jordbruk på 13 hektar.
Vi har grisar som är anslutna till genbanken för utrotningshotade svenska lantraser – de hjälper till att böka och bearbeta markerna. Vi har även fjällkor för egen mjölk och kött, samt kaniner, höns, ankor och hästar. På gården bedriver vi också avel av minigrisar, golden retrievers och maine coon-katter.
På gården bor mamma Jessica (38 år), pappa Stefan (37 år) och barnen Love (5 år) och Oliver (3 år).
Sysslor på gården
Sysslorna kan bestå av djurskötsel, utfodring, mockning, övervakning vid födslar och leveranser. Det kan även handla om bygg- och renoveringsprojekt, skogsarbete och rensning, matlagning och städning, barnpassning, stängsling, dikning och ibland att köra traktor. Vi arbetar också med ekologisk odling och växtskötsel.
Så kan en dag se ut
En härlig dag tillsammans med djur och barn på gården där vi hjälps åt med de dagliga sysslorna, djurskötsel och byggprojekt. Ibland avslutar vi dagen med en mysig spelkväll, ett glas vin eller ett kvällsdopp vid någon av badplatserna under sommaren.
Om området
Det finns ett badhus i närheten, en friluftsbadplats och två sjöar att bada i. I närheten finns även en trevlig park där det arrangeras allsång och andra aktiviteter. Det är ungefär en timmes bilresa till kusten och städer som Halmstad, Helsingborg och Växjö.
Mina intressen är förstås djur, natur och lantbruk – men också dans och trevliga kvällar tillsammans.

Tack så mycket Jessica, Stefan, Oliver, Love & Theodore for welcoming us like family!!
In addition to being the nicest, they have a wonderful and varied farm, where you will fall in love with all the animal (and thats a lot of them). We had fixed routines of feeding every morning and afternoon but other than that and potential projects (cutting wood, fencing, caring for animals.. ) we had a lot of free time to ride, walk around, go to second hand shop or the gym or cook ;)
the accomodation in the orangerie was good, but we spend most of the time in the house.
The eating time were not planned and you could do what you want when you want because everyone is on a different schedule !
If you're looking for cute animals, a sweet home, nice talking and great nature, You will love Lyckans Gård !

Lyckans Gård was a wonderful first woofing experience. It was a pleasure to stay there.
In the morning and evening I had fixed routines like taking the dogs for a walk, cleaning and feeding the other animals. In your freetime you could take a bike to the nearby lake or it would have also been possible to borrow the car.
The accommodation in the Orangerie was great. Enjoying the time with the family was also nice. You could always feel that you are welcome and slowly become "a part of the family". I look back to some interesting conversations in the kitchen. Furthermore, I enjoyed to experience a traditional Christmas eve with their family.
All in all, Jessica and Stefan were great hosts who enjoyed answering all your questions and show you everything.

We spent four weeks on Lyckans Garden, it was a very nice time! The whole family and the animals are all super nice. We had our fixed routines every day in the morning and evening, walking the dogs, feeding the animals, cleaning, etc.
The atmosphere was very warm from the first moment and we always felt welcome and part of the whole.
We were able to experience some Swedish life here, we went to a Christmas market and to the church for the "Santa Lucia" celebration.
We are very grateful for the time we had here!

I spent six wonderful weeks at Lyckans Gård and I’m very grateful for the experience. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed by Jessica and Stefan. Their warmth, openness, and love for their animals and kids create a truly special atmosphere on the farm.
Every day started and ended with taking care of the animals, which I really enjoyed. Feeding them, walking the dogs, and being surrounded by so many sweet animals made the work fun and meaningful.
During the day, there were different tasks to help with, such as weeding, cleaning, or helping Stefan with building projects, which was a lot of fun. I really appreciated the trust and freedom they gave me in planning my day and weekly tasks.
I stayed in the camper, which was very cozy and comfortable. There was also lots of time to enjoy the countryside, go for a run, ride the horses, or spend time with the animals and the kids, who are very sweet and always manage to make you laugh. I also went to the Smålandet Moose Safari, which I definitely recommend, as well as to the second-hand store. I even got to join them for a Halloween party, which was really nice and fun.
The whole family (including Jessica’s parents) is very generous and kind, and the lovely chats we had made my stay even better.
All in all, I look back on an amazing time at Lyckans Gård. I learned a lot, felt genuinely welcomed, and had so much fun working with the animals. I would definitely recommend this place to any future WWOOFer—and I hope to come back!

We had an amazing time with Jessica and her family. It was our first WWOOFing experience and we couldn’t have wishes for a better place to land. They made us feel like part of their family and we had great chats.
We slept comfortably in the orangerie in the backyard, but there is also a caravan available for wwoofers.
The day started between 7.30 and 8.00 with feeding all the animals and walking their 4 dogs. (And ending the day the same way from around 17.00-17.30)
Besides that we had a variety of tasks, like painting a barn and some doors, removing a barbed wire fence from a field, gardening and cleaning. In the morning we would have a chat with Jessica to talk about what we could help with, and then we could plan our day ourselves for the most part.
We also had time to relax and hang out with all the adorable animals and explore the area.
Jessica and her family are not vegetarians like we are, but she made sure that we had everything we needed to have delicious meals.
All in all we look back on a wonderful time and we definitely plan to visit again 😊

I had a great time at Lyckans Gård and would recommend WWOOFing there! This farm is especially something for you if you love animals and like being around children. From the first minute, I felt at home and as part of the family. Most days consisted of taking care of the animals in the morning and in the evening, and during the day I could choose from a variety of tasks like painting, weeding etc. The accommodation is really good. The family and their animals create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes this WWOOFing experience truly special.
