During the summer months (June-August) we are hosting 6 festivals for personal transformation. When coming for the full season, you can take part of all of these fantastic offerings! Note that during these events, there are between 500-1000 participants. Our place is run by a working community of predominantly volunteers, who offer their dedication and service to the vision of this unique meeting place. The number of people living & working in here varies between around 50 in the winter, and up to 300 from June to August when we hold most of the festivals. There are also some chickens and a rooster living here.
You will be part of the garden team, which exists alongside other teams. The garden will have up to 10 volunteers. The beds we cultivate plants are around 600m², and the polytunnel is about 120m². There are many fruit trees such as apple, pear and plum. We have compost piles to take care of, and we are creating a permaculture food forest.
We are looking for volunteers starting in April or May preferably staying all throughout summer until the end of September or October.
Here we strive to live and work according to our 12 guidelines wich are:

There are rooms available for the spring but for summer we recommend to bring your own tent or caravan/campervan alternatively. There are great spots both in our estate, but also in the nearby forest. During festivals we are very low on rooms, and can not promise any indoor accommodation in the summer months, unless you come for the entire season (April-September).
We serve three meals daily -all cooked by our amazing kitchen team. Everything is vegetarian. Vegan and gluten-free options are always offered. If you have any allergies, please tell us.
Normally we work Monday to Friday 5 hours a day, there can be task on the weekends as watering plants and feeding the chicken. If it's good weather and there are a lot of tasks, we might work longer and compensate those hours for example on rainy days.
In your time off you can participate in all activities and workshops offered during the festivals. When we are not hosting an event, there is a co-created program for all of us. You can offer things for the rest of the community if you want to. There is so much to do, and many people to get to know. It's truly an amazing adventure to spend spring and summer here!
Our place is a very social environment so you'll probably meet new friends and get to learn more about yourself. Thus is might also at times have an overstimulating effect being here. Remember to take time for yourself during your days off and to have some time away from all activities. Our country is known for its many many lakes, and it's deep forests. We recommend exploring those close by, and also a bit further away.
