Small family at a Forest Farm in development
Skåne
Hello there, I'd love to welcome you at my little "farm-to-be".
We just moved here in July 2024 and slowly are turning this place in a lovely homestead.
We live here with our 6 year old son and two kittens.
We will prepare more beds, grow vegetables, plant fruittrees and others in a small agroforstsystem, prepare firewood, renovate the inside of the main house, raise chickens.
Right now there is
-a tiny house with a tiny kitchen, electricity and compost toilet (you can use the mainhouse shower with always warm water)
-an enormous guest room with 25qm in the main house
-a trampolin, slide, climbing frame for kids in the garden
-just a few vegetable beds in the garden
-our own natural forest of 3 ha
-a workshop and washing house with washing machine, dryer and so on, a garage with another workshop, plenty of sheds
How we live together:
-We live very closely like in a flatshare. We share household responsibilities, we talk and see each other a lot. Still you can find peace in your own room. You will get to know how we live and will immediatly take part in our german/swedish lifestyle. :)
-I will buy groceries depending on your wishes and most of the time cook together but are free to do it by yourself. We share one kitchen in the mainhouse.
What to do in the area :
-sometimes we go to a trip together to go hiking, or to the bigger cities
-swimming in the very big lake which is 10 minutes by bike or 4 minutes by car
-biking in the area (people all over skane come here)
-hiking in the area (skaneleden is around the corner)
-just hang out in our own forest
-Lund (30 Minutes away), Malmö (40 Minutes away), Eslöv (20 Minutes away) by car
-nearest train station and big supermarkt in a city nearby (10 minutes away)
-there are two bikes which you can use
This is a queer friendly place. No rascism, no antisemitism etc.

November 2025
I had a lovely stay with Milena for 2 weeks. She accepted me very last minute which I was appreciative of. While I was there, I performed a variety of tasks including building the chicken coop, covering the garden with leaves, clearing the drains, preparing firewood, and looking after the chicken/cats. Milena was very respectful and I appreciated that the pantry was well stocked. The exact work schedule was flexible and I felt comfortable communicating my needs. Milena was very open to teaching and answering any questions I had. Given that my stay was last minute, I was the only wwoofer, but Milena indicated that she usually tries to have two wwoofers at once which I think is nice. Overall, I had a great time even in the slow november days.

I had an amazing time wwoofing with Milena for 4 weeks.
The place is very beautiful and very peaceful.
The work was varied (a new to-do list everyday which made the work very stimulating) and rewarding (my before and after pictures speak for themselves 😂). I learned so much while also enjoying every activity. The balance between work and free time was perfect, and there were plenty of opportunities to explore the surroundings and spend quality time with the other wwoofers (who were all so nice and open).
Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would totally recommend ! I will keep these great memories forever !
I’m very grateful to Milena for my stay and would love to come back in the future (it even made me want to move to Sweden 😉)

I had the chance to spend almost two weeks at Milena’s beautiful and cozy home near Höör, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The work was very varied and exciting – from watering flowers to tearing down walls and stacking firewood, there was a bit of everything. I never felt bored, and Milena always made sure that the work was not too exhausting. She was also very open and supportive, always ready to listen if something didn’t feel right.
What made my stay even more special was sharing it with another Wwoofer. From the very beginning, we clicked and developed a close friendship. We spent our free time exploring the stunning Swedish countryside by bike (which Milena kindly provided), laughing a lot together, and tackling every task as a team. Having her by my side really made the experience unforgettable, and I feel so grateful for the bond we created.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay immensely and would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, enriching, and truly memorable WWOOFing experience.

We had a great time at Milena's place with her son Karl, her lovely cats and adorable baby chickens. While we were there, we helped building a gate, a fence and a chicken coop, and learned a lot about gardening. Thanks for everything !

We had a great time on Milena‘s Farm. The working hours were more than fair and we did different stuff every day, so it did not get boring at all. The family was very welcoming and we really felt at home! We would definitely recommend this farm to other woofers! :)

Milena made me feel very welcome and I will definitely return some day if possible!
I felt as part of the little family of her, her six year old son and the two cats, all of whom were really sweet. Milena is good at communicating and really wants you to have a good time. And my room was really big and cozy!
My days started at ca 9 and consisted of making firewood (most times with a machine), cutting down small trees, carrying wood around, one day we built a hill plant bed, renovating a little house in the forest to be a future sauna and sometimes babysitting Milenas son. Many times I also worked alone on tasks when she was occupied wirh something else.
There is always plenty to do but there was never any pressure, it was a very very pleasant and calm experience overall (even though Milena always has 20 things on her mind at once).
Definitely come here. If you can also be by yourself, can improvise somewhat and have no problem with cats or children this will be great!
