My name is Petra, and I work both as a carpenter and at the university in Gothenburg, focusing on forest sustainability. In addition, my husband Patrik and I run a farm, where we, together with Elliot, who lives and works with us in a tiny house, aim to be self-sufficient in vegetables.
We have pigs, horses, quails, cats, and a dog, and we plan to add sheep to the farm soon.
The farm includes fishing waters, a vegetable garden, a greenhouse, and Airbnb cottages.
Each morning, we feed all the animals. During the day, we tend to the garden beds, make repairs, and build fences for the animals. The tasks vary depending on the season.
Accommodation is provided in a separate apartment with its own kitchen, although we usually share vegetarian meals together in the main house.
The farm features beautiful nature trails, an outdoor bathtub, a boat, and often wonderful guests from around the world.
