Hello! Our farm is a small organic market garden located near Stockholm, Sweden. My name is Angela (34) and I run the farm full-time with the part-time help of my partner Uttam (42) and our two oxen, Madhu and Chandra. We are environmentalists, animal activists, and are dedicated to the sustainable stewardship of our land. **For the 2026 season we are fully booked. However, we may consider hosting extra wwoofers who have a lot of farming experience and truly align with our mission** Every morning and evening we milk our two rescued cows by hand. The cows and oxen are the center of our farm. The manure they create becomes the compost for our vegetables, the oxen help us with farm chores, and the cows provide a surplus of milk and cream. WWOOFers can expect to learn all aspects of compassionate cow care and have many interactions with our calm and cuddly companions. We grow vegetables for the Stockholm Farmers’ Market which runs 12 weeks from August through October. We focus primarily on heirloom tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, beans, pots of herbs and whole chili plants. Although we also grow a diversity of other vegetables including radishes, kale, turnips, leeks, cucumbers, etc. WWOOFers will be involved in all garden tasks such as seeding, transplanting, and weeding. Those who visit during market season will also join in harvesting and potentially selling with me at the market. We offer incredible homemade vegan and lacto-vegetarian meals and desserts. Uttam comes from an ethnically diverse family and enjoys cooking Indian, Spanish, and French cousine. Throughout the summer we love making pizza from scratch in our wood-fired stone pizza oven. With all of our cooking we only use non-violent milk products from our own cows - milk, yoghurt, butter, ghee, cheese, and cream. We are happy to adapt to vegan WWOOFers. For breakfast we provide homemade breads, jams, milk/cereal, etc. WWOOFers will stay in a small simple one-bedroom cabin next to our family home. Everyone shares the kitchen and bathroom of the house. Our house and guest cabin are about 1km away from the garden and cow barn. Please note that we do not allow the cooking or consumption of meat products in our home. Nature lovers and city goers will thrive at our farm. It is located beside a forest nature reservation with hiking trails. There is a gorgeous lake with a perfect swimming beach that is within a few kilometer biking distance. We also live 4km from the commuter train that goes into the heart of Stockholm (about a 40 minute ride). We are happy to loan our bicycles and offer rides to the station. We are close friends with several other farms in our area and there may be possibilities for visits and field trips. From large conventional dairies to anthroposophic biodynamic farms, our area has a high diversity of agricultural operations. This is our first season opening our doors to WWOOFers! I was a WWOOFer myself and will apply my previous experiences to provide a positive learning environment. We welcome WWOOFers of all races, nationalities, genders, religions, and sexual orientations. I would especially like to invite artists and trades workers to visit us. We have many building projects going on and Uttam and I build everything ourselves!

I had a wonderful stay on the farm and learned so much during my time there. Angela and Uttam were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made me feel at home from the very beginning. We shared many interesting conversations, and sometimes we all cooked meals together, which was a lot of fun. The work was varied and enjoyable. I had the opportunity to milk the cows, remove weeds, water plants, and help sow vegetables and flowers. As this was my first time WWOOF experience, Angela was always happy to explain things and teach me along the way. She also took time to take us on visits to nearby farms, which gave me a broader understanding of local farming practices. The farm has a warm and positive atmosphere, and all the animals on the farm are very friendly. It was a great place to learn, work, and experience daily farm life. I would highly recommend this host to anyone looking for a genuine farm experience, meaningful work, and kind-hearted people. Thank you for a memorable stay!

My partner and I stayed with Angela and Uttam for two weeks in May. We had the most incredible experience learning about sustainability, farming, and the cutest cows! Angela and Uttam welcomed us with open arms and took very good care of us during our stay. we felt right at home and the food was always delicious. We would definitely recommend WWOOFing with them and wish we could have stayed longer!

For us, staying at the farm was dissappointed. We were looking for a farm to do useful jobs. In the end, we were just waiting for some small tasks. After 1,5 days waiting, just 45 minutes of picking peas. I brought in over 30 years of prof gardening. We could do so much more. We decided to travel further... Maybe a nice place for young people looking for a certain lifestyle. But not for us.

I spent two incredible weeks with Angela and Uttam. The work on the farm is varied (sowing seeds, repotting, painting, etc) and I got to see the work with the Oxen, which is very impressive. I will always be very grateful for the wonderful times we spent together. Thank you for your kindness, empathy, and good humor. I had such a great time laughing during those two weeks, putting the world to rights with you. Plus, Uttam and Angela are fantastic cook! Thank you again, I truly loved my experience and until next time!

I spent about a week here & can honestly say this farm is a GEM. Awesome things about this place (in no particular order): the COWS (obviously), the best cat ever, THE FOOD, they live next to a whimsical forest, all the plants, ANGELA(& everyone!). Overall a really cute farm in a great location. I could go on but basically I highly recommend if you like being outside !!

Staying at Angela’s Farm was my first WWOOFing experience and I could not have hoped for a better one. I was welcomed in her home with open arms, got to know her family and left feeling like I was a part of it. I got to do many different things and learned a lot! That included working in the garden, for example: weeding, moving the chickens, picking vegetables and loading everything up into the van for the market, covering beds and ripping out dead plants. Because I was there in autumn we slowly started to prepare the garden for winter. I was also a part of caring for the cows, that means: milking in the evening, where I learned to milk the wonderful Sunny, feeding all four cows, cleaning out the barn and always feeding Tilak the cutest cat ever. Another advantage of being there in October was being able to attend the Farmers Market in Stockholm with Angela where I helped and could also explore the city. When we didn’t work I had free time to walk around the neighbourhood. Angela always offered to give me a ride to the nearest train station and if a car was free, that was another option to explore. All in all, I can say that Angela and Uttam are wonderful, kind and caring hosts. They made me feel like I have a home there and for that they will always have a special place in my heart. I am looking forward to seeing them again! <3
