Hello everyone, (för svenska längre ner) We who run our farm are Sebastian and Jenny. We enjoy food craftsmanship and create our own products from what the farm produces. Jam, honey, baked goods – everything is sold in our farm shop. The farm is currently expanding its activities, with new projects being started. Also living on the farm are our dog Borka, rabbits, and goats. We work with the seasons. During harvest time it’s all about taking care of the farm’s fruit and berries. In winter, we tend to the farm, the soil, and the land. In spring, we prepare for sowing and planting. We eat breakfast together, when we also plan the day’s projects. Lunch and dinner are (mostly) self-cooked. Accommodation is available for 2 people (shared), with its own kitchen, shower, and toilet. No smoking on farm. We like crafts and history. There is a lot of local history here, but also proximity to a capital city, Stockholm. We are both involved in a Viking boat association as well as other historical societies. Sylt, honung, bakverk, allt säljs i vår gårdsbutik.

I had an extremely lovely time staying with Jenny and Sebastian! I stayed for a week and a half. The days were full yet flexible and we ate very well. I was there during autumn ina good year for mushrooms, so we spent a lot of time in the forest picking chantarelles, and then cleaning them back home. They made a lot of efforts to plan tasks and activities around my interests - truly above and beyond. They are both great cooks and were very cognizant of my dietary restrictions (no gluten or added sugar). This is an absolutely WONDERFUL place to wwoof if you: want to learn about viking history and culture; are auDHD (like me); are lgtbq+ (I felt safe here as a lesbian); are good at direct communication; want to improve your swedish (Jenny helped me practice all the time and Sebastian lent me some swedish comics); and/or like to eat meat. It would be less ideal if you prefer to have a set schedule ahead of the time for each day. There is not a clearly defined structure for each day as a wwoofer here and plans can change quickly, so it helps a lot to be willing to go with the flow. This was my first wwoofing experience and I would be very, very glad to come back here again in the future. I felt like a part of the family, and every day here was special. Tack så mycket Jenny och Sebastian!! See you again. :)
