Hi there!
We are Moa (46), Andreas (48), Elis (12), Vide (10) and Elna (3) on this farm. We have lived here for almost 20 years and still have a lot to do to make the farm better :-)
Nine buildnings, apple juice pressery, ducks, horses, dog and a cat summarize quite a bit what we are up to. Moa and I work 100% with administrative stuff - often at home.
We have two main topics for wwoofers: take care of the garden April-June and apple pressing work September-November.
Gardening happens when we plan it - depending on weather and other work that has to been done on the farm. It's a matter of discussion and planning. Some work is done together, some for your own.
As you can see on some of the pictures work during springtime is about getting the garden in shape before sowing and planting. We also need to finish building the greenhouse and prepare growing boxes etc.
Other work that is planned is moving, cutting, painting, caring, digging, carpentry, take care of horses, dog, ducks etc. There are plenty of things to do both altogether and solely.
Apple pressing during three months takes place when the customers delivers. From morning to late nights about 3-4 days a week.
We have an Airbnb cottage and when it's not hired you live there on your own. Second option (when the cottage is hired) is that you sleep in either a much smaller cottage or a caravan. In both those cases you use our bathroom in our house.
We have meals together as we agree. We plan the forthcoming days together. We are very flexible.
Our place is sited in Glanshammar, just some minutes from our place. There you find supermarket, pizzeria etc. Nearest town Örebro is 12 minutes from here by car or 20 minutes by bus. The bus stop here is 200 meters from our place. This is a rural area with woods, lakes, countryside.....and the things you need from the nearest town nearby.
Örebro is about 2 hours from Stockholm, 3,5 hours from Gothenburg. You come here from Stockholm/Arlanda airport easiest and cheapest by bus4you.se or the train - sj.se
And about languages.... Moa and me talks English, and I can somewhat reasonably make myself understood in German and French.

I had an absolutely amazing stay with Andreas and his family. From the very first moment, they were incredibly warm and welcoming and I immediately felt at home. Andreas is such a kind and easygoing person, we shared many laughs and he was very flexible with the work schedule.
During my time there, I mainly helped him finish building his greenhouse, which was both fun and rewarding. He even cooked two different soups for me, one night, simply because I had never tried them before.
For the first few days, I stayed in the small house next to his, and later I moved to a tiny cabin when other guests arrived. Both places were very comfortable.
I had a truly wonderful time with Andreas and his family and I’m very grateful for the time I spent there.
